Colm Fuller is a chartered physiotherapist and lead of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in Sports Surgery Clinic.
He completed his honours degree in physiotherapy in University of East London in 2007 and completed his Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy with distinction in University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia in 2010.
Colm joined the team in late June, 2014 after working with the Emerging Ireland team at the IRB Nations Cup in Romania. He has spent the last 2 seasons working with Munster Rugby as the Limerick based physiotherapist, where he had a particular interest in progressing the return to play structures for injured players.
Previous to that, he worked as a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in Pure Sports Medicine at the Canary Wharf clinic in London. He joined there after 2 seasons working with London Irish rugby club in the English Premiership.
Before he started his masters, he spent his initial 3 years learning his foundations within the NHS structure in London based teaching hospitals and gained a particular insight into trauma orthopaedics and neurology.
His main areas of clinical interest include strength and sensorimotor rehabilitation for chronic neck, shoulder and low back pain as well as the rehabilitation of running-related injuries such as achilles tendon injuries and anterior knee pain.
