Patients are liable for any charges not covered by their insurance company.Please note that all Shortfalls and Excesses must be paid prior to Surgery or on the day of admission.
SSC is not responsible if for any reason, all or part of your claim is not paid by your insurance company. In such cases the bill will be forwarded to you for payment.
SSC Accepts direct settlement of claim payments from: VHI Healthcare Ireland, AVIVA Health, Quinn Health, Garda Medical Aid and POMAS. Please check terms and conditions with your insurer.

Self Insured Patients
Non-Insured patients are required to pay in full for their treatment on the day of admission. Please contact the Patient Accounts Department at 5262071/72 for the cost of your surgery. All fees for the Surgeon and Anaesthetist will be paid separately.
Diagnostic Imaging Services
Non-Insured patients who are being seen for diagnostic imagining services will be required to pay in full on the day of the service. The Sports Surgery Clinic has direct settlement with VHI and Quinn Healthcare for In-House referrals for MRI Scans. Also, Aviva, Garda Medical Aid Scheme, ESB and Bupa International will be fully covered for G.P referrals for MRI Scans. Prison Officers Medical Aid Scheme does not cover MRI Scans in Sports Surgery Clinic.
