Are you on an NHS waiting list for Orthopaedic Surgery?

If so, you are entitled to access expert orthopaedic care in Dublin at UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic through the Waiting List Reimbursement Scheme (formerly known as EU Cross Border Directive).

If you live in Northern Ireland and are currently on a waiting list for one year for orthopaedic surgery through an NHS Healthcare Trust or HSC Board, you may be eligible for the Republic of Ireland Reimbursement Scheme. This scheme enables patients to travel to the Republic of Ireland for orthopaedic surgery.

This surgery is paid for initially by the patient and refunded by the NHS.
