I suffered knee pain for a couple of years leaving me unable to walk even short distances. I was referred to NHS for Total knee replacement but never heard a word from them. I contacted NHS and was advised it could be anything from 3 to 5 yrs before I would be seen. I knew I would be unable to wait that long. I spoke with friends who had had surgery in SSC Clinic and they had a great experience of it. I decided to contact them. I was very lucky to have been referred to Mr Dan Withers. I was seen very quickly at the clinic and had my surgery on 22nd Jan 2025. The care and attention I received was fantastic. Following surgery I was seen twice daily by the physiotherapist who had me up on crutches the following day. The staff were very attentive I felt very confident with my care. I followed my discharge instructions carefully and followed the exercises I was given closely. I attended my 6 week postoperative appointment on 6th March 2025 walking unaided. I am delighted that I decided on SSC clinic thank you so much Mr Dan Withers and all your team I have got my life back.
