Accreditation

The Sports Surgery Clinic is currently going through the JCI accreditation process in order to achieve excellence in patient care.

Accreditation is a process whereby an organisation undergos an external peer review to determine if they meet a set of standards designed to improve quality of care.

Accreditation provides a visible commitment by an organisation to improve the quality of patient care, ensure a safe environment and continually work to reduce risks to patients and staff.

All departments in the organisation will be involved in this process.

This will be achieved through the following:

  • Continuous quality improvement and self assessments
  • Improved communication across the organization
  • Policies and procedures reviewed and updated
  • Good practice is recognized and shared
  • Services reviewed and improvements implemented
